OUR COMPLETED PROJECTS

KIWANI VILLAGE PROJECT 600 PEOPLE- COMPLETED

A group of widows formed Kiwani Women's Development Association to solve community issues among which was the water crisis. WILL was delighted to partner with them to provide a water well. Instead of walking long distances to get dirty swamp water, now they can collect clean drinking water from their new water well. We are glad to report that after many years, it still provides clean drinking water.

BUSEI B COMMUNITY PROJECT 700 PEOPLE- COMPLETED

With a population of over 300 homes, many in Busei B Community didn't have access to clean, safe water until WILL intervined. Many school children were happy with the water well in their village because it reduced the time they spent collecting water. Because it is a large village, this community needs another water well. Will you help provide another water well?

NABITENDE VILLAGE PROJECT 800 PEOPLE-COMPLETED

This water well was provided for the people of the business area of Nabitende. WILL received encouraging testimonies from the people that use the well. We will continue to support communities with clean water like we did in Nabitende Village.

PROJECTS THAT NEED YOUR SUPPORT.

NAMISU VILLAGE WATER PROJECT-600+ PEOPLE

Some of the major diseases in this village are water borne diseases like diarrhea and typhoid. These come from the dirty swamp water they are collecting. Transform the health of these people by providing safe, clean water.

BUKWAYA VILLAGE WATER PROJECT-300+ HOMES.

People in these 300 homes depend on this swamp for water or must walk long distances to access safe, clean water. Together we can sustain these lives with a village water well.

KAKOMBO VILLAGE WATER PROJECT-1,500+ PEOPLE

This water well serves over 1,500 people near a church in Bukona. Each yellow jerrican belongs to a person waiting to pump water from the only well. Bless this village with another well to avoid such long waiting times.

NAMBALE JUNIOR SCHOOL WATER PROJECT-400+ STUDENTS

This is a boarding school that has no access to clean water. As you can see, children must collect water from a local swamp. Help us bring clean water to these kids so as they can stay in school.

BULUBANDI VILLAGE WATER PROJECT

This village has no water well, so the women use bicycles to carry their water because water source is about a mile away. By providing a village water well, these women will have more time to take care of their families and engage in other sustainable programs.

NAMAGUMBA VILLAGE-SIRONKO DISTRICT WATER PROJECT.

This water well is usually locked, so people wait 2-3 hours to fill their jerricans with water. WILL wants to provide an additional water well that will always be accessible to the people.

NABIRYE VILLAGE COMMUNITY WATER PROJECT.

This village has no water well, the only water people have to drink is the contaminated swamp water. This water is used by cows, goats, ducks and other animals. Help WILL provide a water well for this village.

KATUBA PRIMARY SCHOOL WATER PROJECT

Over 700 students drink from this swamp because their is no clean water source within a mile. Help us end this extreme water crisis by providing a water well for this school.

BUKAWONGO-IMANYIRO COMMUNITY WATER PROJECT-250 HOMES

There is no well in this village, so women and girls walk long distances for water. They use bicycles to carry the water to their homes. Help the mothers of this village by giving a water well.

BUSEI A COMMUNITY WATER PROJECT-1200 PEOPLE

This village with a high population has only one water well, so people come to collect water even during the night. It is very dangerous for women and girls to be fetching water at night. Because water is not easily accessible, some people fetch water from swamps. Please help WILL provide an addtional water well for this village.

NABUKONE VILLAGE WATER PROJECT-200 HOMES

This village has no water well. The closest water source is this swamp. There is no water at the school so the children get water from here too. Help WIll bring safe, clean, accessible water to this village.

BUSEMBATYA WATER WELL PROJECT-750 STUDENTS

These students walk over a mile, 3-4 times a day, to get dirty water. Providing clean, safe, accessible water would help them spend more time in school. Will you help them?

We have located over 997 rural villages, communities, schools and churches that need access to clean water. Some of our proposed projects are explained above. Please help WILL transform, empower and sustain lives through bringing clean, accessible, safe water to these areas. Below is the cost for each type of well. Any donation helps bring clean water closer.

MACHINE DUG WELL

A complete machine dug well costs $5,000. This is recommended because it is a deep production water well which provides water during dry seasons. Drilling such a well takes only three days. The total cost includes inspection, surveying, drilling and installation. Even small donations can help us provide a machine dug well.
